3D Printing & Silicone Casting Demonstration

April 26, 2022, 4:00 pm -
4:30 pm

Join the UCSF Library’s Makers Lab for a live, virtual demonstration. Learn how 3D printing and silicone casting are being used to create models for UCSF faculty, students, and researchers.

The demonstration will be like a cooking show – but for health sciences projects! View the technology in action, learn about projects at UCSF, and ask Makers Lab staff questions.

Event Hosts

The Makers Lab is a makerspace in the UCSF Library. The Makers Lab provides the UCSF community with access to tools and technology to unleash their natural creativity.

COVID Safety

The Bay Area Science Festival will manage all in-person events with the health, safety and well-being of our staff, volunteers, hosts, exhibitors, and guests in mind. In response to COVID-19, we will be implementing public health requirements for all event hosts and attendees in accordance with local and state guidelines in order to celebrate science safely throughout the Bay Area.

The Bay Area Science Festival encourages you to get vaccinated, wear a mask and practice social distancing. Be sure to check back for updated and more detailed COVID safety information prior to attending.

Thank You for Supporting BASF
