The Science and Technology Center on Real-Time Functional Imaging, STROBE, is addressing major imaging science challenges through the integration of several areas of imaging science and technology. This multi-million dollar NSF funded research project, involving 5 institutions across the country, includes researchers at UC Berkeley whose labs focus on electron microscopy, X-Ray imaging, advanced optical imaging, and the data algorithms underpinning each imaging science focus. Which types are best for viewing cells and microscopic organisms and which are best for viewing the individual atoms of a tiny molecule? Learn about different types of imaging research being done at Berkeley on this tour.
RSVP is needed to attend.
