Use the information below to help your school, after-school program, PTA group, etc. learn more about the Bay Area Science Festival.

The Bay Area Science Festival is a celebration of local science and technology held October 25 – November 2, 2019. Scientists and educators from local colleges, museums and companies will uncover mysteries and explain discoveries in hands-on activities, facility tours, stimulating presentations, and riveting performances for adults and children of all ages. Events will occur across the Bay Area culminating with the Discovery Day, the Bay Area’s biggest interactive science event on November at Oracle Park, in San Francisco. Curious? The online Educator Resources has everything teachers and youth-serving organizations need to engage with the Bay Area Science Festival.  Download and distribute a classroom flyer or request postcards for students in your classroom. Discover Festival events for K-12 teachers and students.

K-12 Schools and Robotics Teams may also exhibit for free at the November 2nd Discovery Day which reached nearly 30,000 people last year. We invite you to join more than 500,000 people who have attended the Festival since we started in 2010 to celebrate the Bay Area’s STEM successes and opportunities.

The Festival is seeking volunteers to help produce and promote the events, and STEM faculty, staff, and students to exhibit at the November 2nd Discovery Day which reached nearly 30,000 people last year.
