Discovery Days bring the fun and excitement of science to a huge crowd. Discovery Days have hundreds of hands-on activities, interactive demonstrations, and family-oriented science entertainment.  All Discovery Day events are free!

Saturday, 11/2/19, 11 AM – 4:30 PM

Oracle Park in San Francisco becomes a science wonderland when the Bay Area Science Festival concludes with this FREE science extravaganza. The entire ballpark is packed to the rafters with science, engineering, robots and more – explore the field and every level of the ballpark. Join us as we celebrate Bay Area science!

Expected Attendance: 30,000


North Bay Discovery Day

Saturday, 10/26/19, 10 AM – 4 PM

Discovery Day North Bay is a community celebration involving exhibitors from all around the Bay.  Join us at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds to make liquid nitrogen ice cream, build a catapult, engineer a marble machine and more!

East Bay Discovery Day at Hayward

Saturday, 10/26/19, 11 AM – 4 PM

Join us at the CSU East Bay Hayward campus for demonstrations, experiments, hands-on-activities, exhibits, and much much more. Participation by everyone is encouraged. Everyone – young and old – can experience the wonders of science.
